The Bulldog Hotel

Linda was incredibly kind and helpful. Even though she didn’t have the proper accessories to fix my glasses, she still found a way to make it work. I really appreciated her willingness to go above and beyond. All the staff members were very friendly, and the location was perfect — everything was within walking distance from the hotel, which made it easy to get around.

Fantastic stay at the Bulldog Hotel once again. Staff are really kind and helpful. 10/10. Rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. 9/10 - Rooms would benefit from another lighting method, as the bedside lamps alone aren't bright enough sometimes, but the ceiling lighting can be way too bright - so there's sometimes not a nice middle point for brightness in the room. If the ceiling lighting was dimmable the rooms would be perfect 10/10. Food, drink, service in the lounge downstairs was excellent, and good value for moeny too - 10/10. Location is brilliant for what we like to do and see in Amsterdam, 10/10. Thanks for a grerat stay, see you again soon.

Such a great visit to Amsterdam made even better by staying at The Bulldog. After an early flight, our room was ready before check in, which started our trip on a high! Everything was clean, relatively quiet when you need it to be, and so close to everything around. I think we walked 20 minutes max, to anywhere we needed to be (it helped that the weather remained dry during our trip). I liked that the rooms were simple, practical, and not a sensory overload. I particularly enjoyed the walk to and from the room in the hotel itself. It's lit well, very colourful, and decorated with such interesting prints to look at - definitely kept me smiling whilst walking around. The rooftop terrace was quiet and private which I liked. The lounge downstairs was pretty great to enjoy as well, and a good spot to meet up with friends. Had no problems with the staff - everyone was super helpful. This is definitely somewhere I will be returning to hopefully!

What can I say? This place was awesome! I stayed in a private...it got a lil cold but there was a space heater that helped. Lol (tip: at night, leave any card in the slot to keep ur room warm when u come back) ... The front desk was super nice.... And having the coffee next door was nice! But wait, the lounge downstairs, SUPER CHILL & CONVENIENT if ur staying there!

I stayed 8 nights, everything was great. Excellent and warm rooms. Affordable luxury with a very lively and loud lounge bar with excellent food, delicious cocktails and very kind staff. In the best neighborhood in the city, opposite the Red Lights District and 5 minutes from Dam Square. And a fantastic coffeeshop right next door.! I will definitely be back.! Obliged.!
