That was my first time ever visiting a church. I was immediately drawn in by the architecture from the outside, and I’ve always wanted to see what the inside of a church looks like. It was so beautiful — everyone was sitting quietly and praying, and the whole atmosphere felt peaceful. I was amazed by the paintings and the details in the craftsmanship. I’m really happy I had this experience.
Such a stunning amazing beautiful church. I just happened to be walking by and I wanted to see inside and realized mass was on so I prayed and was able to get communion. Such a beautiful blessing. It was definitely Gods plan. I could feel Jesus in my heart and for it to happen the way it did was definitely Gods plan for me to be there when I was. The people were friendly including security. Something I am not used to to in a church. Thank you God for this beautiful opportunity today and for allowing me to see such a beautiful church. God Bless and thank you.
Great church in the middle of hustle and bustle. We were lucky and our unplanned visit coincided with midweek mass. Great stained glass and a friendly congregation.
Stopped by while wandering around downtown during my lunch break so I didn't have much time to stay long. St. Michael's Cathedral is an old and gorgeous Catholic Church reminding me of Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. Will be back soon when I have time.
In the heart of downtown Toronto, St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica is a true refuge from the city’s rush. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful stained-glass windows, and soaring ceilings create a sense of calm and reverence the moment you step inside. What makes it even more special is that it houses holy relics of saints, adding a deep spiritual connection for those who visit. Whether for prayer, reflection, or simply a quiet pause, it’s a sanctuary that feels timeless and welcoming.
