About this place LGBT Dance

LGBT Dance is a nonprofit dance club in Toronto dedicated to creating an inclusive, gender-neutral environment for LGBTQ+ people and queer-friendly allies. Since 2002, the venue has been a cornerstone of Toronto's queer nightlife, offering dance classes and social events centered around Latin and hip hop styles. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this is a space designed specifically for you to learn, move, and connect with community. The club focuses on accessible dance instruction, with classes in Salsa, Hip Hop, and rotating styles like Bachata and Cha Cha. What sets this venue apart is its commitment to affordability and accessibility—they offer discounted rates for students, unemployed individuals, and underemployed people. This makes it possible for more folks in the queer community to participate, regardless of financial circumstances. The welcoming atmosphere extends to everyone: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, as well as straight allies who are supportive of LGBTQ+ spaces. If you're visiting Toronto and looking for a place to dance, learn new moves, or simply spend time in a queer-centered community space, this nonprofit venue offers an authentic alternative to typical commercial gay bars. For details about current class schedules, dance styles, and information about their discounted rates, visit their website or reach out directly via email.

Great vibes, great drag, reasonably priced drinks and a fun time. Was a safe space and had a lively dj. Soundsystem was decent and the bathrooms were individual and relatively clean. The place is well managed. Midas was an amazing performer. Lived for her Kpop numbers!

Finally decided to come here after finding out about the new owner. Every change they’ve made here have been major improvements! It’s an amazing atmosphere with fun staff and great performers such as Baby Bel Bel, Bearda and other local legends! Happy to say I will be adding crews to my bar rotation when going out now.

Amazing place for a fun night out. Coat check was seamless and allowed for larger than expected bags. Friendly protective staff and great upstairs and downstairs

Had the most amazing time at Crews in September and am already ensuring I carve out time on my next trip to Toronto. The staff, the drinks, vibes, the drag performers, DJ- everything was amazing and this is my new FAVOURITE spot to hit up in the village. An overall welcoming, inviting and inclusive space. Do not skip this venue if you are hitting up Church St.! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💃🕺🍸 Great new Management & great prices with something going on each night!

Man, has Crews & Tango done a 180°!!!! It's bright and refreshed and so welcoming. I'm so impressed with how it looks and feels and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. The new management has taken Crews & Tango to new heights. Well done!!!
