As a queer POC this is one of the top rated activities I look forward to every summer. Friendly, supportive, respectful, amazing, and fun loving are just some adjectives to describe the people that work here! So many awesome memories and friends made. Thank you, The POINT Resort! 🥰🔥
I've gone to Labour Gay weekend the past two years and i cannot wait to go back again next year. Theres a group of 8 or so of us and everyone else is so friendly. The pool parties are a big highlight, I'd love for a bit less circuit music at the barn dance but all in all its such a wonderful weekend with great facilities, staff and fellow campers! 10/10
Was a first time visitor this past weekend. Very well kept park, garbages were always empty and bathrooms / showers kept clean. None of the showers felt overly….usable. More of a dribble of warm water that in order to get under, you have your back pressed against the wall. Campsites are very expensive for what you get. $155 for a square of literal sand, not even grass, ended with with muck EVERYWHERE. The pool is BEYOND crowded and makes first time visitors feel unwelcome. Big bonfire, Bingo and the dance were fun. Food truck is a sham, $7, a 26 minute wait and you get a burnt muffin and eggs thrown in tinfoil. All in all, was not horrible but it’s definitely aimed at all the seasonal sites with little attention to campers.
The Point Resort… This place is awesome! If you’re looking for a place to just throw up your feet and relax or a place to have some drinks and make new friends this is it. It is maintained and incredibly clean by the staff. They run it very professionally to make your experience as enjoyable as possible, and welcoming for everyone. The last few years I’ve spent my summer weekends here and will continue to do so. This is my happy place. Thank you to the staff for another great start to another great season ahead!
