We loved the owner. I am from out of town & we stopped here after a rodeo. This place was more exhilarating than the rodeo. We felt very welcomed. I loved the sparkly, fell into a whole other dimension. The fries were salted and crisp just like we like it! Thank you !
As someone new to town, I was looking for a spot where I could relax, meet people, and start feeling a little more at home; and I’m so glad I stumbled across The Mineshaft. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting and genuine. The crowd is approachable, welcoming, and incredibly kind, which made it easy to strike up conversations and feel comfortable right away. The food menu may be limited to typical bar eats, but honestly, everything I’ve tried has been 10/10. You can tell care goes into what they serve. On top of that, the drinks are a great value, which makes it an easy place to come back to again and again. If you’re new to town; or even if you’re not. The Mineshaft is definitely worth checking out.
this place is dark and grungy. It smells bad. I was almost sick while trying to drink. The owners are married and apparently after hours the bar turns into a weird scene, and it smells like it. I could never drink here. I give up. I don't know what I was thinking, but this ain't it.
Casey and Brandon + all staff have truly outdone themselves. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and genuine conversation. Staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel seen, welcome, and celebrated. Their energy is so personable and engaging, you’ll feel like part of the family by the end of the night. The vibes are impeccable. Safe, warm, and inviting, it’s the kind of space where you can truly let your guard down and just be yourself. Whether you’re there to dance, connect, or enjoy a drink with great company, the atmosphere meets you where you are. You can tell this bar was reestablished with heart and intention, and it shows in every detail. Inclusive, affirming, and full of life, this isn’t just a bar. It’s a home away from home.
