The Folsom Street Fair is the world's largest leather and fetish event, transforming a 13-block stretch of Folsom Street in San Francisco's SoMa district into an open-air celebration of kink, leather, and sexual freedom each September. Since its founding in 1984, the Folsom Street Fair has been simultaneously a fundraiser (raising millions for LGBTQ+ and community organizations annually), a sex-positive cultural event, and a landmark of San Francisco's distinctive character.
