About this place SandBar Tampa

SandBar Tampa operates on North Dale Mabry Highway and serves as the primary gay bathhouse option for Tampa's gay male community. The facility provides the standard bathhouse infrastructure: private rooms available for rental, lockers, steam room, and common areas oriented toward the cruise culture that the gay sauna format serves. The Dale Mabry Highway location is accessible from across the Tampa Bay area — the road is one of the city's main north-south arterials, connecting the airport corridor to the northern suburbs. The clientele is the full cross-section of Tampa's gay male community: local regulars, visitors staying in the downtown hotels, and men from across the broader Tampa Bay metro area. The sauna is open extended hours and provides the late-night option that gay men require when the bars close. For visitors looking for the Tampa sauna experience, SandBar is the consistent answer.

If you like to watch people whilst having a super strong drink, then stop at the sand bar in Ybor City, Florida.

Horrible place. Waited there for 2 and a half hours. Once we asked how long till our table is done the hostesses kept stating “we’re bussing the table”, 30 mins after we asked again and they still said that they were bussing the table. Horrible customer service, manager was very rude to us. It does not take 30 minutes to buss a table, they showed no care to us at all as we were a large party and have been waiting there for a while. I work at a restaurant as well and I would never treat my customers like that and it never takes 30 minutes to buss a table. Manager just rude all in all.
