Patong Beach

Nice beautiful beach with lots of activities as para gliding, jetski, speedboat...it is the most busy beach in Phuket and there is a lot of entertainment arround, bars, restaurants, shops and of course Thai massage and Thai boxing. Reachable via Airport bus for 100 bath.

Patong Beach is a very lively and happening place, especially for tourists who enjoy nightlife, shopping, and beach activities. The beach itself is beautiful, with soft sand and great sunset views. You’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafes, massage centers, and shops nearby, so everything is easily accessible.

The beach is beautiful for sitting, relaxing, enjoying hawz hind, tasting pearls, and engaging in various recreational activities. However, to be honest, it is not my preferred spot for swimming.

The beach is very full and touristic, but given that it's the high season, this was expected. Throughout the day, you'll find people selling stuff for you 24/7, making it difficult to relax. If you're looking to rent a sunchair and want quick, easy access to the beach from your hotel, this beach is for you. However, if you want to relax in peace, this beach is not for you.

For first time visitors to Phuket, Patong Beach is such a classic tropical experience. Clear water, buzzing beach activities and plenty of nearby food options make it very convenient. Everything you need is within walking distance, from massages to restaurants and nightlife.
