Melbourne Pride 2026

Melbourne Pride is Melbourne's annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, held each October with the Pride March along St Kilda Road drawing approximately 100,000 participants and spectators. The event has grown substantially in recent years and encompasses a programme of community events, parties, and cultural programming in the weeks surrounding the march. St Kilda Road, one of Melbourne's great boulevard streets, provides a spectacular setting for the march, which moves from the CBD through to the St Kilda foreshore. Melbourne Pride reflects the city's commitment to visible LGBTQ+ public celebration while maintaining a community character that distinguishes it from purely commercial Pride events.
