The Domain, Sydney

It is a heritage-listed large 34-hectare (84-acre) area of open space on the eastern fringe of the Sydney central business district, Australia. It is used as a venue for outdoor concerts, open-air events, large political gatherings and rallies, as well as being used daily by the people of Sydney for exercise and relaxation. Many city workers spend their lunch break here with picnic, sport or walking. It is roughly divided into three sections by a road running north–south and the east-west Cahill Expressway: the Domain occupies roughly the south-west, south-east and north-east quadrants formed by these roads. There are lovely gardens near the Burns memorial that is popular with tourists and locals. There's wildlife nesting in the trees too. Very popular place, lots of tourists and locals. Easy terrain, lot of easy walking. Toilets available. Cafes and restaurants available. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Free entry. Parking is hard to find. Use public transport

Marvellous place to enjoy a live concert on a clear evening. Thoroughly enjoyed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Chill park area. There was this guy building a massive tower out of jenga which was very cool. Also the underpass with thr travelator was very fun to walk through.

Nestled between the Art Gallery and the CBD, it’s a perfect place for a jog, bike ride, or a peaceful walk 🍃 I really enjoy the open space and greenery - ideal for relaxing or laying out a picnic. Highly recommend it for some downtime in the city!

my special place especially speakers corner on a Sunday opposite the main entrance of the NSW Art Gallery in the Park next to the road side and Pedestrian crossing have your say to an audience ! can be very entertaining!
