The facilities cover the full range expected of a modern gay sauna: steam room, Finnish dry sauna, heated pool, multiple darkrooms organised by theme (standard, extreme), private cabins available for rent, a lounge and café area, and gym equipment. The Steindamm location in St Georg positions Flex in the middle of Hamburg's gay infrastructure — the Lange Reihe bars, the cruising park, and the clubs are all within 10 minutes' walk. Weekday afternoons draw a local clientele; weekends and post-club hours see the crowd shift to include visitors and clubbers. The facility is maintained to a high standard and regularly updated.
