Gays and Lesbians Opposing Violence is a private LGBT rights activist organization in the District of Columbia. It works to stop violence against the members of the LGBT community or those considered to be LGBT through education, community outreach and monitoring cases of violence and injustice to make sure that the rights of LGBT victims are preserved.
