Strasbourg Pride — Marche des Fiertés 2026

Strasbourg's annual LGBTQ+ Pride march through the European capital, typically taking place in mid-June. The city's unique identity as the seat of European democratic institutions gives the event a distinctly political and international dimension — flags of EU member states often appear alongside rainbow flags, and MEPs have marched in recent editions. The route passes through the city centre and La Petite France, ending with a free outdoor festival. Expected attendance: 15,000–20,000, drawn from across Alsace, the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany, and the European Parliament community.

Strasbourg Christmas Market — LGBTQ+ Friendly Visit

The Strasbourg Christkindelsmärik (Christmas Market) is the oldest in France and one of the most famous in Europe, running from late November to December 31. While not an LGBTQ+ event per se, the market attracts several million visitors and the city's gay bars and hotels report their highest occupancy of the year during the Christmas season. Le Gayot and L'Alchimiste both decorate for the season and see heavy visitor traffic. The combination of fairytale Alsatian architecture, glühwein, and the festive atmosphere makes this one of the most popular times for LGBTQ+ travellers to visit Strasbourg.

Gay Strasbourg — Twój kompletny przewodnik

Wszystko, co warto wiedzieć przed wyjazdem.

Strasbourg is one of Europe's most cosmopolitan cities — seat of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. Its UNESCO-listed La Petite France quarter, half-timbered Alsatian architecture and Rhine-side setting make it one of France's most photogenic destinations. The LGBTQ+ community here is bolstered by a large expat population of European civil servants and a vibrant university scene, centred on the Krutenau and Petite France neighbourhoods.
