Destination (目的地, "Mù Dì Dì") is the closest thing to a major gay club that Beijing has — a multi-room venue operating near the Workers' Stadium (Gongti) that has anchored the area's LGBTQ+ scene since the early 2000s. The club has a main dance floor, smaller lounge areas, and a programming calendar of themed nights across the week. The crowd is predominantly Chinese gay men with a contingent of expats and Asian visitors; the venue is well-attended on weekends. Destination has demonstrated resilience through multiple waves of official pressure since 2021, continuing to operate with a lower profile.
