Sauna Paradis is situated on the Allées Léon Gambetta in the 1st arrondissement, placing it within easy walking distance of Marseille's main gay bars. It is the most professionally run of the city's gay saunas: two floors with a Finnish sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, well-maintained private cabins, a darkroom and a rest area. The clientele is predominantly local and covers a wide age range; weekends draw the largest numbers. Entry includes a towel and locker. The sauna is men-only and open daily including public holidays. Midday openings make it practical for visitors whose schedule doesn't revolve around nightlife.
