Vauxhall Griffin

My partner and I stayed at The Griffin Belle last night and had a brilliant experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely fantastic — full of flavour and beautifully presented. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary drink, which was a lovely touch. The manager couldn’t have done any more for us — truly attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. The bar staff were also absolutely lovely, creating such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast this morning was just as impressive: fresh, tasty, and the perfect start to the day. Overall, a great stay with warm service and excellent food. We’d definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

Used to be a great pub, now it kind of looks like a cross between a florist and an American diner. Ordered “chicken tenders” for lunch.. I was given a tiny breaded chicken fillet that was sliced into thin strips… I can only imagine they were running low on chicken and just winged it (excuse the pun). Yeh, not good.

Super convenient location if heading to the US embassy, less than a 10min walk. The hotel itself has loads of character, a really cute bar/restaurant area with plenty of food options, and with numerous TVs screening sports etc. All staff were extremely helpful and attentive, making sure our stay was welcoming! clean rooms with comfy beds. would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

We stayed overnight before visiting the embassy. Very friendly, nice rooms. We left our bags with them in the morning as we went for an 8am appointment and got back for breakfast at 10. I left my AirPods in the room and they posted back to me at no charge. Very helpful, thanks guys.

Great stay! Super positive atmosphere, a good nights sleep, surprisingly quiet because there is a school across the street and the pub shuts at 11pm. Decent breakfast options and very convenient to Vauxhall station with direct links to Victoria, Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross stations on the tube - up to 25 mins away. A hidden gem for sure!
