The Executive Suite at 3428 E Pacific Coast Highway represents the eastern extension of Long Beach's gay bar geography beyond the Broadway Corridor. Operating at the intersection of PCH and the surrounding East Long Beach neighbourhoods, the Executive Suite has been serving the local LGBTQ+ community for long enough to function as a genuine neighbourhood institution in its part of the city. The format is the neighbourhood gay bar — accessible, unpretentious, and oriented toward regulars rather than weekend visitors. The PCH location gives it a slightly different catchment area from the Broadway bars: East Long Beach residents who might find the corridor inconvenient, and visitors arriving from the Orange County side of the LA metro.
