First time with the new chef (week 2) and absolutely flavoursome food, I had the slow cooked belly pork with a side of cauliflower cheese, very delicious empty plates all round. A warm welcome form all the fabulous staff, really makes you feel welcome. Not just on a Sunday, but any time you visit this little pub with a big heart!

What a cracking pub! The welcome from Anna behind the bar, along with the locals, was the best I've had in any pub in a looooong while. First visit for me, but definitely not the last The Sussex Bitter was in excellent condition and temperature, too.
