Illumined Sauna — originally opened in September 2015 as SPArtacus Bear Sauna — is a bear-oriented gay sauna on Via Pontremoli, close to Adam Sauna and the San Giovanni Metro B. The facilities are notably large for a private sauna: a Finnish sauna with 30-person capacity, a hammam/steam room with tiepidarium and calidarium built for 50 people, a large jacuzzi, a full bar, private cabins, dark room, heated floors and computer-managed water systems. Massage rooms and a relaxation zone are also available. The venue was rebranded to Illumined following refurbishment. Caters primarily to bears and admirers but open to all. Free WiFi.
