Marea Alta

This was my favorite of all the bars in the area that I tried during my trip. Love the funky artsy decor. The crowd is fun. Met some amazing locals there. The bartender Tobias was super nice and friendly. As a solo traveler who doesn’t speak German I appreciated that a lot. The dance floor an the music on the weekend get very lit. I’d love to come back some day :) Much love ❤️

The bar has a really nice vibe and the people coming are fine as well. But there is a barkeeper who is *incredibly* rude!! Ruined our night for no reason at all... It is really unfortune so I hope he changes his attitude or gets fired.

The bartender was an extremely rude and sassy person who made the overall experience at the bar extremely hostile. He was inconsiderate and made us feel unwelcome. One of our cards declined and he made a big deal of it by rolling his eyes and acting as if it was such a big inconvenience. When we finally payed for our beers he asked us if we could tip out of “inconvenience” despite the poor attitude and lack of service- we opted not to tip due to this and he was visibly annoyed and barely acknowledged us the rest of the evening. Apart from this the vibe and atmosphere was nice and the other female bartender was nice!

Extremely rude bar tender , when I gave a 10% tip he asked me if that was all. He later slammed the water I asked for down on the bar and raised his voice at me to say please, even though I had been extremely polite, regardless of his poor attitude . Lovely bar and didn’t ruin our night, but bartender needs to get a new job away from customers.

Super cute gay bar, on the bottom floor there’s a little dancefloor that’s open on the weekend. Diverse crowd and good vibes
