I want to start off by saying Martin at the front desk is the nicest front desk person I have ever dealt with. The woman next to him not so much. He made the experience so pleasurable offering us all sorts of perks that were part of the program. I did not like the suite we got because it was too many different rooms but the hotel was sold out so they couldn't move us. I ordered room service. It was okay. I don't understand why they dye the hamburger bun red they say it is beet juice, but it is so weird and it kind of ruined The taste even though it was quite delicious. I think it was a lovely hotel but not for a luxury resort. I think it was a tad bit less luxurious than some that I have stayed at. Lot of people. Love Prague, my husband and I thought it was very dirty. The garbages were overflowing in the city and there were a lot of shady people and tons and tons and tons of graffiti so that didn't add to the enjoyment. I feel the food is very heavy in general. Of course the beer is delicious, but you can only drink so many. So yes, I think the hotel was great but not for a fine hotel of American Express.
An absolutely outstanding experience. Me and my family spent three night in their Christmas suite and we had an exceptional time. The facilities and the food is fantastic, and the staff is next level. Bilal and his colleagues provided us with one of the best service that I have experienced in a hotel. Their kindness and helpfulness was truly amazing to experIence. The hotels location is also amazing, right next to the old town nestled in a none busy street. If you are looking for an unforgettable time in Prague, I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed at The Grand Mark, in our first visit to beautiful Prague. The hotel is excellently manteined, the room was awesome and we used multiple times the small but functional hotel spa. Everything was great, but I need to spend few extra second to praise the service we received. Olga did an amazing job on welcoming us and showing us around. Professionality at a superior level. All the staff provide an excellent service and made our staying really unforgettable. Thank you.
The hotel’s location is truly excellent. It is very close to the historical center and the Old Town. The room we stayed in was very nice, spacious, and extremely practical. The bathroom was also spacious and comfortable. Most of the hotel staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. The bellboys at the entrance were especially attentive. I would like to thank all the bellboys, especially Bilal, whose name I had the chance to learn. Breakfast was sufficient and consisted of high-quality products. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of our room and the attentiveness of the housekeeping staff. I would especially like to thank Gabriella, along with all the staff, for their efforts. I would like to mention that the carpet in the room seemed a bit worn; renewing it could further enhance the comfort. Apart from this, everything was very good. Special thanks to the warm and friendly pianist in the black suit for the beautiful live piano performance. I would like to thank the entire team for their hard work. If I visit again, I would definitely choose to stay here and would gladly recommend this hotel to others.
It's okay, but definitely not worth the price. Everything looks weary, tired. The staff was very nice and polite, but the overall experience just doesn't much the normal expectations of the high end hotel. My room was alright, but there were a few issues with the cleaning: the coffe capsule from the previous guests was in the coffee machine and the big dried up stain on the floor next to the bed (see the photos attached). I'm not sure if it's due to high occupancy or just the gap in quality of room service in general. They were unable to honor the early check-in and the upgrade perks that come with the Amex FHR program through which I booked the room due. I was toold that this is due to the low rooms inventory. Obviously, those perks are not guaranteed and depend on the availability. But in any case, beware my fellow FHR travellers. The breakfast was good. So, all in all I think it was a 3 out of 5 experience comparing to the other FHR hotels I stayed with. I probably won't be staying here again.
