The venue spreads across two floors: a bar and dance floor upstairs with a more mainstream music programme, and a lower level with a darker, more cruise-focused atmosphere including a defined darkroom section. The crowd is predominantly gay male and skews slightly older than Tabasco — 30s to 50s — reflecting the venue's appeal to Florentine locals rather than international tourists. Friday and Saturday are the main nights. Crisco has hosted some of Florence's most important queer club nights and circuit events over the years, including events coordinated with the Arcigay Firenze calendar. The dress code on weekend nights is permissive but the venue rewards those who engage with its underground character.
