31st of December 2025. Back at the hotel after work. My day, nay, my year was rounded off beautifully by Michael, head barman at my hotel. This guy knows his stuff ! He makes an exceptional Pisco Sour that is worth the detour, the stay, the evening, the year. Bravo to Michael ! And happy new year.

I'd call interesting place to stay. Different style and design. Rooms large also bathrooms. Small but comfortable beds. Double beds combined with 2 single beds with big gap between. Rich breakfast with wide range of products. Close to city centre.

Rooms good size, unusual style. No fridge, no coffee maker that is strange for 4 star hotel. Bathroom is big but somehow useless as sink is small and no place to put cosmetic except floor… great staff, easy parking.

If you are looking for the perfect hotel at a great price, then Hotel Penck is definitely the place for you. The friendly and helpful staff, absolute peace and quiet, and first-class design will make your stay an unforgettable experience. The city center is just a few steps away from the hotel, the tram stop is a stone's throw away, and thanks to Dresden's excellent transport infrastructure, you can easily get anywhere from the hotel. Brilliant location, professional staff, beautiful design. I will definitely be happy to return to this hotel.

Hotel was not clean. Room and toilet were dirty, bed linen had stains and was yellow. Definitely not up to 4-star standards. Staff were nice and friendly, but we were given a room next to the elevator so it was very noisy. On top of that, the hotel is close to train tracks, so constant train noise makes it hard to sleep. Wouldn’t recommend if you are sensitive to noise. The hotel is within walking distance to the city center so that was the only good thing about it.
