The room is perfect for a couple. It's clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Its location is great, too. Downtown San Pedro de Atacama is full of cafés, restaurants, and shops that are within walking distance. It's easy to stroll around. The 24/7 reception is also great. Franklin and Christian were super attentive and friendly. They welcomed us and gave us a tour of the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning décor, architecture, and Atacameño heritage. Our room was very clean, too. Housekeeping changed the towels and made the bed daily. I would highly recommend it! Breakfast was good, though as is often the case in hotels, there wasn't much vegan selection. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Highly recommend staying here! My wife and I were in the Atacama for five nights and had an incredible stay at Terrantai. The property is beautiful and the rooms were clean and charming. There are dedicated snack, tea, and wine and cheese times at the hotel (for free!) where you can enjoy local food and wine in a beautiful setting. We were especially impressed with how friendly, professional, helpful all of the staff members were. They made our stay truly special and memorable. If we make our way back to the Atacama in the future, we would certainly stay here again.

This is an interesting hotel with a mix of traditional charm and some quirks. Upon arrival, Frank gave me a tour of the hotel and showed me to my room, which was helpful. A small downside is that you can easily hear conversations from other rooms. The hotel uses a large, traditional key system. You leave the key at the front desk when you go out and pick it up when you return. I appreciate the old-fashioned charm, though I personally prefer a digital key for convenience. The rooms have a ceiling fan, but on the highest setting it tends to swing a bit. A nice perk is the variety of nuts, snacks, dried fruits, wine, and tea available throughout the day. Breakfast includes juice, coffee, tea, bread, and a menu where you can order eggs. WiFi was slow and weak in my room (Room 1), though it is stronger in the common areas. Upon arrival, they provide a tablet for you to enter personal information like your name, birthday, passport number. I’m not sure why I have to fill this out myself instead of them doing it for me—it seems unnecessary. Overall, it’s a hotel with unique touches and thoughtful amenities, but with a few minor inconveniences.

We spent four nights at Terrantai and absolutely loved our stay. All of the staff were incredibly diligent and welcoming. Special shout-out to Frank at front of house and the manager, Franklin, who made us feel very welcome. The hotel offers so many special extras that create a really warm atmosphere including the nightly wine and cheese as well as daily snacks and afternoon tea. The breakfast was also delicious with eggs made to order and a different local delicacy to try every day. A truly amazing service is that a small breakfast buffet is available from 4am every day, for those going on early morning tours. I would not hesitate to recommend Terrantai Lodge for anyone visiting San Pedro!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The manager Franklin is so nice and gave us a tour of the hotel when we arrived and remembered us the whole time we were there. The pool was so nice after a hot day exploring the desert. The best part is they have daily snack, tea, and wine times which are sooo nice. They also gave us a reusable bag and water bottle when we arrived which we used on all our tours! Breakfast every morning was also fantastic with specialty foods from the area to try. Best place to stay in Atacama!
