The facilities are those of a high-quality gay sauna — steam room, dry sauna, whirlpool, relaxation areas, private cabins, and a bar — but the setting elevates the experience beyond any functional comparison. The Kaiserbründl has been gay-operated for decades and is one of the few LGBTQ+ institutions in Europe that genuinely belongs to the category of architectural must-see. The first-district location, a few minutes from the Stephansdom, makes it accessible from the central tourist areas. Entry fees are in line with other Viennese saunas.
