Sitges Gay Carnival

Sitges Carnival is one of the world's most fabulous LGBTQ+ carnivals, held each February in this legendary gay resort town 35 kilometres from Barcelona. The floats and costumes are outrageously creative, the parties are non-stop, and the town's compact, picturesque streets fill with revellers from across Europe. Sitges's year-round gay scene — the town has one of Europe's highest proportions of queer residents and visitors — means the surrounding infrastructure is excellent.
