The floats and costumes are outrageously creative, the parties are non-stop, and the town's compact, picturesque streets fill with revellers from across Europe. Sitges's year-round gay scene — the town has one of Europe's highest proportions of queer residents and visitors — means the surrounding infrastructure is excellent.
