Melbourne Leather Festival is Australia's southern capital of kink and leather, held each year and drawing the Australian leather and fetish community to Melbourne's established scene around the Peel Hotel and the surrounding neighbourhood. The festival combines market events, community gatherings, leather competitions, and club nights in a city whose leather community has been active since the 1980s.
