Oakland Scottish Rite

A historical building right accross Lake Merritt. Feel safe in the area. The ballroom is nice and big with beautiful ceiling. I was there for the Gaskell Ball. It was an amazing event at this beautiful venue that fits so well. Hope they can continue holding the annual Vintage Ball here.

Such an amazingly beautiful space. It is the loveliest place for vintage social dance with a ballroom that easily holds 450 dancers.

We had an event here and it was so good! The backstage was so roomy and the staff was so kind, in making sure everything was okay and went to plan and were there to help. The massive rooms and ceiling help the audio flow throughout the room perfectly. Also the vending machines were so nice to have.

We were able to feature our photo booth at this beautiful place. It was the perfect spot to host a prom. I will definitely be back. I also loved the onsight parking.

Wonderful venue! Staff are very kind and accommodating as well as a gorgeous and picturesque location and hall. The Rite is a favorite of halls I've visited. Everytime I go it feels as if I'm walking through a castle. Definitely a must see place and site to host an event!
