Great place. Location is close to the train and center of the city. Breakfast is AMAZING! The variety of perfectly prepared food is staggering. This is an easily $50USD brunch that is included in the reasonably priced room. If I could give 6 stars I would.

It’s hard to complain when you book a standard room and get upgraded to a suite!! Was like a flat minus a kitchen area!! Did thoroughly enjoy my stay here. I slept well for three of four nights after working out the a/c. Bathroom was huge and spotless. The room had been well maintained. My mattress preference is a firm single mattress though, not the Scandinavian soft and thin top mattress, but still slept well. The breakfast though was a bit disappointing for Radisson Blu standards unfortunately. Choice was not as big as other hotels. There was big construction work outside for the metro, but honestly didn’t hear it from eight floors up. I understand though why the hotel is taking this opportunity to close really soon. They will make big renovations and open again sometime next year (I think autumn?) as a top notch hotel. Occupancy rate definitely felt really low as a result. Location wise, it’s amazing! Just ten minutes walk from central station. You can even walk most of it by crossing the road and going through the Kamppi shopping centre / bus / metro station. So convenient, I can’t wait to stay there once it reopens and stay in the heart of Helsinki again!!

Very good location in Helsinki with close to restaurants, bars and shopping. I assume the rooms are newly renovated but the room was very fresh and clean. Beds soft. Temperature was nice and easy to control. Good pressure and temperature in shower but would prefer only shower instead of this bathtub. I only saw one staff member at the reception at all times which was annoying when there were several people looking for assistance. Breakfast is a very standard hotel breakfast.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel . The room we had was extremely comfortable and clean and we appreciated that the room was cleaned every 3rd day as there is no need to have fresh towels and sheets daily . The bathroom in our room was great too with a rain shower and power shower and we loved the design . Breakfasts suited us perfectly . There was enough variety of hot and cold options and plenty fresh healthy food which we enjoyed . The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and welcoming too which was lovely . We were also made to feel very welcome by the staff at reception who are very professional, friendly and want you to enjoy both the hotel and Helsinki . At no time did we feel uncomfortable here travelling with our daughter who has autism and a learning difficulty and of the many hotels we have stayed in it’s the one we have felt the most relaxed in . Location wise the hotel is great having attractions within walking distance and transport nearby . It is an easy walk to central station . We hope to visit again as we enjoyed our stay so much as well as enjoying Helsinki . Many thanks again to all the hotel staff

One of the nicest of hotels for your stay in Helsinki city center area! Building itself doesn’t give great impression & even reception are looks but old and very plain! however they have some very beautiful, clean set of rooms, with all basic amenities needed. Great location if you want to stay in the city center area. Good breakfast selection, Very nice staff and more! Thank you
