Malmö Pride 2026

Malmö Pride is one of southern Sweden's most significant LGBTQ+ events and the flagship Pride festival of the Øresund region — drawing participants from across Skåne, from Copenhagen, and from the broader Scandinavian LGBTQ+ community. The festival reflects Malmö's unique character: multicultural, politically engaged, and committed to reaching communities that larger Pride events sometimes overlook. The parade through central Malmö and the week's associated programme of events, club nights, cultural programming, and debates are organised with the political seriousness characteristic of Swedish Pride culture. The September timing makes it the natural final chapter of Sweden's Pride season, following Stockholm Pride in late July/August and Gothenburg Pride in August.
