Wellness Club 33 occupies the gym and spa floor of Axel Hotel at 33 Carrer d'Aribau, in the heart of the Gayxample. As Axel is one of the best-known gay hotels in Europe, the club carries that identity without advertising it aggressively — the crowd is predominantly gay but the space is open to all adults. Facilities include a full gym floor with cardio and resistance equipment, a spa with swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi, plus massage and personal training. Day passes are available to non-guests: approximately €15 for gym only, €25 for gym plus sauna/spa. Weekly passes are also offered. The location — a few minutes' walk from the main Eixample gay bars and shops — makes it the natural pre-party warm-up or post-flight stretch-out for visitors. The rooftop pool (TheClub on the hotel rooftop) is a separate ticketed space and operates seasonally.
