Cruz 101 is the largest gay club in Manchester and one of the largest in the north of England — a three-floor venue on Princess Street at the edge of the Gay Village with a capacity of approximately 2,000 and a programming calendar covering every night of the week. The club has been a fixture of the Canal Street scene for over 30 years and has survived the multiple waves of consolidation that have reduced Manchester's gay nightlife infrastructure from its early 2000s peak. Three floors: the main floor runs pop and commercial dance; the second floor hosts alternative and themed nights; the basement Dungeon is more club-oriented. Big events on Friday and Saturday, with regular themed nights across the week covering everything from pop nights to fetish events. Cruz is the default end-of-night option on Canal Street — wherever the evening started, many nights end here after the pubs close. Student-friendly pricing on selected nights.
