The crowd is mixed queer — gay men, lesbians, non-binary people, and the straight friends who come because the bar is simply good — with an age range that skews toward the mid-twenties to mid-forties demographic that makes up much of Ruzafa's resident population. Madam is not the bar where a night ends; it is the bar where the middle of the night happens — after Pub Black, before wherever the evening leads.
