DIGO — the Goiás Sexual Diversity and Gender International Film Festival — is one of Brazil's most important regional queer film events, held annually in Goiânia. The festival screens LGBTQ+ cinema from across the world at venues throughout the city, reflecting the growing visibility and cultural confidence of Brazil's Central-West LGBTQ+ community. It's a genuinely important platform for queer stories that might otherwise never reach the interior of the country.
