Tube Bar (管子, "Guǎn Zi") is the most stripped-back option in the Workers' Stadium gay cluster: a small, casual local bar with cheap drinks, a pool table and the atmosphere of a neighbourhood venue that has been serving the same community for years. No pretension, no dress code, no expensive cocktails. The crowd is predominantly local Chinese gay men in their 20s and 30s; expats and visitors who find their way here generally appreciate the unpretentious character. Open earlier in the evening than Destination, making it a natural first stop before the club later. The Chinese name means "tube" or "pipe" — the narrow interior fits the name.
