🌈 About This Event

Wellington Pride Festival celebrates LGBTQ+ life in New Zealand's capital city — a compact, walkable city of extraordinary creative energy and remarkable queer visibility. The festival runs each March and includes a Pride Parade through the Cuba Street arts precinct, film screenings at the Paramount Cinema, and a full programme of cultural events reflecting Wellington's unique place as the country's arts capital. Te Papa, the national museum, and the city's gallery and performance spaces become part of the festival landscape.
