The Korea Queer Film Festival (KQFF) is South Korea's premier showcase for LGBTQ+ cinema, screening international and domestic films in Seoul each summer. South Korea has a thriving independent film culture, and KQFF sits at the intersection of that tradition and the country's growing queer visibility movement. The festival's programme is consistently adventurous, mixing crowd-pleasing crowd-pleasers with challenging, politically charged work.
