Comfy café and bar Sonntags was an underground club for the LGBT community until the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, and retains the welcoming and supportive atmosphere so vital in those days, describing itself as an event, information and advisory centre for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
