Homosexual cocktailsAn American/Hong Kong-style bar über-decorated in gold and black, located not in Schöneberg but Mitte, serving cocktails, champagne, beer and the like, from the people behind Motzstraße restaurant More and bar Heile Welt [see entries]. Three bars in one, spread across 300 square metres. DJs and live music on occasion. No food. Attracts nearly all ages, but mostly 30- and 40-somethings. And yes, it's 'TheLiberate', not 'The Liberate'. Opened May 2012. U-Bahn: Hackescher Markt.
