Glasgow Pride is Scotland's largest LGBTQ+ Pride event and one of the biggest in the UK outside London, drawing over 40,000 people through the city in July. The event is free to attend, with a parade through the city centre and a festival area in Merchant City. Glasgow Pride carries the working-class, politically engaged character of the city: loud, warm, and rooted in genuine community. Official events include the parade, a main stage with live performances, club nights at AXM and Polo Lounge, and programming across Merchant City's Gay Village venues.
