Oxford Pride takes place in one of the world's most famous university cities, where queer history runs deep — from Oscar Wilde's student days to decades of LGBTQ+ student activism at the university. The parade through Oxford's extraordinary medieval and Georgian streets leads to a free festival that reflects the city's unusual mix of global academia and English market town charm. Oxford's gay scene is small but spirited, and pride weekend brings it to life.
