Guayaquil Pride celebrates LGBTQ+ life in Ecuador's largest city and main port — a steamy, dynamic coastal metropolis that is the country's commercial heart. Held each June, the march through downtown Guayaquil has been growing in size and confidence, reflecting the visibility of the city's queer community in a country where LGBTQ+ rights are formally recognized.
