Caracas Pride is Venezuela's main LGBTQ+ march, held each June in the country's capital against a backdrop of serious political and economic crisis. The march is an extraordinary act of visibility and resistance by a community that continues to organize and celebrate despite Venezuela's challenging conditions. International LGBTQ+ organizations have consistently praised the courage of Venezuelan queer activists, and the Caracas march is the symbol of that determination.
