Diversciudad is Monterrey's annual LGBTQ+ pride celebration, held each June in Mexico's industrial capital and northern cultural hub. The event has been growing steadily as Monterrey's younger generation has pushed back against the city's traditionally conservative reputation, and the march through Macroplaza draws an increasingly large and passionate crowd. The surrounding festival week reflects the city's entrepreneurial energy — everything is done with Northern Mexican ambition.
