Wednesday Line Dance Night at Charlie's Denver — the gay country-western bar in Capitol Hill that has been Denver's most joyful LGBTQ+ institution for decades. Free line dance lessons start at 8pm every Wednesday; no experience required, no judgment given, and the energy on the floor is genuinely welcoming. Charlie's is open daily from 11am — one of the few Denver LGBTQ+ bars with that commitment — and Wednesday is the mid-week line dance tradition that draws a crowd from across the city's queer community. The floor transitions from country to pop after midnight.
