Pride Fort Lauderdale is the annual LGBTQ+ pride celebration for the Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors community, held each April along Las Olas Boulevard and the surrounding downtown area. The event encompasses a parade, a festival with multiple stages and entertainment, community organisation presence, and the full range of activities that accompany a major regional pride celebration. Fort Lauderdale Pride draws approximately 50,000 participants and spectators, making it one of the significant pride events in the southeastern United States. The April timing — during the optimal weather window between the cool winter season and the oppressive summer heat — means that conditions for outdoor celebration are close to ideal. The Las Olas Boulevard location provides a scenic backdrop along Fort Lauderdale's main entertainment corridor. The event is supported by and deeply connected to the Wilton Manors community, with many of the area's bars and organisations involved in the wider Pride week programming that extends beyond the main parade and festival day.
