About this place Charles Dennis

Before becoming interested in video I was a dancer, choreographer and performance artist and explored the use of moving images in live performance. I began my career in the arts working with acclaimed theater director Robert Wilson & performed in many of his works including the original production of “Einstein on the Beach” (1976). In 1979 I co-founded Performance Space 122 in New York City – a theater that has become one of this country’s most active presenters of new dance & performance. With
