CC Attle's has been a fixture on Madison Street in Capitol Hill for decades, occupying the sports bar end of the neighbourhood's LGBTQ+ spectrum. The multiple pool tables and bank of screens showing sports — Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders FC — give it a character distinct from the music bars and performance venues that make up most of Capitol Hill's scene. The crowd is bear-friendly and masculine-presenting, skewing somewhat older than the Queer Bar or R Place regulars, and the atmosphere is correspondingly more pub-like: people come to watch the game, shoot pool, and socialise without the overlay of performance or spectacle. For the bear community in particular, CC Attle's is a comfortable social space that supplements the Cuff Complex's more cruise-oriented environment with something closer to the neighbourhood pub experience.
