National Organization for Women had already made its mark in the United States when it began the Seattle Chapter in the year 1970. It was named the Seattle King County Chapter back then and worked with the aim to maintain peace and stability within the system. Overall, it was the 36th Chapter of National Organization for Women nationwide.
